The Isle of Wight-Smithfield-Windsor Chamber of Commerce will host toy train displays in its lobby on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6, during the hours of the Antiques Show and Sale, and the daytime Holiday Homes tours (Saturday, 10am to 5pm, Sunday noon to 5pm).Privately owned Lionel toy trains from the 1920s up to the present will be displayed in operation, and children (with supervision) will be allowed to operate the controls.Admission is free and open to the public. Hot beverages will be served, courtesy of Keurig Green Mountain.
The toy train display will also be open during the Smithfield Evening Christmas Market Friday, December 11, 5-9pm, and during the Genuine Smithfield Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 12, 11am to 1pm.
