Courthouse Restoration Celebration
Saturday, August 8 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.,
Courthouse of 1750 in downtown Smithfield
Historic Smithfield, Inc. and the courthouse group will hold a “Courthouse Restoration Celebration.” There will be numerous activities on the Courthouse Grounds as well as Free hot dogs, drinks & mementos of the re-opening of our historic courthouse. Many of the changes are not so evident, but were desperately needed in order to solve the problem of water infiltration from the chimneys and roof as well as the ground. Please join in the festivities and take a look at how wonderful the courthouse looks!
