Do you have a special pet in your life, be it furry, feathered, slimy, or scaly? Then bring it to Historic St. Luke's Church for our annual Blessing of the Animals.
The Rev. Connie Gilman from Christ Episcopal Church in Smithfield will conduct special blessings from 2-4 p.m. in our National Historic Landmark. Other activities will include a reading of the book "Lilli of St. Luke's" by local author Fran Olsen, a pet vendor village, and a photo booth to capture the day with your beloved pet.
Vendor tables, as well as sponsorships, are currently available. This event is free and open to the public, but donations will be utilized to purchase a bronze plaque for our Lilli the dog statue, located by our Welcome Center.
For more information, contact Assistant Development Coordinator Kristen Marchant at (757) 357-3367 or kmarchant@historicstlukes.org.
