Christ Episcopal Church will offer another Celtic-inspired service on Sunday
afternoon, September 27 with special prelude music beginning at 4:50. As at all previous Celtic services at Christ Church, there will be time for quiet reflection and healing as worshippers light individual candles bringing about a sense of peace and community in the lovely and radiantly lit space. In addition to quiet hymns and congregational participation in singing, poetry and readings, special music will be offered by Karen Stowe and her sister Sharon Priest. This contemplative service amid flickering candlelight at dusk is a lovely way to conclude the weekend. A reception follows the service. Also participating will be the Rev. Derek Pringle and Organist/Music Director Heidi Bloch.
