A local merchant must decide whether to stand with his neighbors or the King – either way his livelihood is on the line.
As the royal government begins to lose influence, the patriotic men of Isle of Wight form their own Committee of Safety to govern in the new democratic fashion.
Based on historical facts dramatized for the first time.
