Jews in Colonial Virginia and Beyond

Historian Allison Gunn will discuss the earliest know Jewish presence in the Hampton Roads area and highlight Southern Jews in the American Colonial Period.  Gunn will focus on Jewish migration to the New World, as well as the economic and cultural factors which influenced their movements within the colonies and shaped their American experience.  Seating is limited.
