This Martin Luther King Day we will be offering guests an opportunity to volunteer behind the scenes in an effort to keep some of our favorite attractions looking as good as "new". We'll be working both in the River House and in the Brick Kitchen trying to remove dust, sand, and years of wear and tear. In the River House we'll be: Sweeping the floors, cleaning windows, and reorganizing our fossil collection. In the Brick Kitchen we'll be: Sweeping floors, dusting artifacts, and cleaning windows both upstairs and down. Once we've finished the cleaning, guests will enjoy a free tour of our beautiful Jones-Stewart Mansion. If you are interested please contact the park staff in the Farm and Forestry Museum. We will assign up to 10 volunteers to each project, if you have specific interest in one or both opportunities please let us know upon signing up. For registering call 757-294-3439
