Have you ever wondered what children did for fun in the 1930's? Travel back in time and join us for a demonstration of casting tin soldiers from molds. A park interpreter will use molds dating from the 1930's that were found in the basement of the house on the adjacent Walnut Valley farm, now a part of the park. This free demonstration will be offered twice daily and lasts about 20 minutes. Afterwards, take a quick walk or drive to the Chippokes Farm and Forestry Museum to check out the numerous exhibits including a display of other "old time" toys from the early 1900's.
