Voices in the Mansion: Ghostly Tales with Patty Elton
Looking for a grown-up way to get into the Halloween spirit? Local author Patty Elton will read from her book Ghostly Tales of Selected Virginia State Parks in the historic (and supposedly haunted) Jones-Stewart Mansion. If you need to steady your nerves, Hampton Roads Winery will be on-site, and light hors d'ouvres will be provided by the Friends of Chippokes. Afterwards, join a ranger for a candlelit tour of the legendary Mansion. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance by calling 757-294-3625.
