Walter Noona Concert
Isle of Wight Arts League and The Smithfield Times will present “A Mediterranean Cruise” concert featuring the Walter Noona Trio on Saturday, November 11, 7:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Smithfield. The concert is free but tickets are required for seating. Tickets are available at the Smithfield Times and the Arts Center @ 319.
A master of keyboard instruments, Walter Noona’s distinguished career has included solo recitals in cities throughout the county and appearances as guest soloist with orchestras in New Orleans, Chicago, North Carolina and Virginia. He has served on the staff of several schools, including the University of Illinois, Xavier University in New Orleans and Old Dominion University. He is presently the musical director and conductor of the Virginia Beach Pops Orchestra, where the Walter Noona trio members often appear as guest artists.
